We invite you to the court of the Kurzeme dukedom. You will see Rundale Palace which is one of the most outstanding Baroque and Rococo historical monuments in Baltic States (built from 1736 to 1740 as a summer residence for the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann Biron, designed by renowned Russian court architect F.B. Rastrelli). Courtiers and court ladies will take care of you and will take you into the world of court. The master of court’s ceremonies and the ladies of the Duchess court meet the guests on the Parade stairway and welcome to Palace. Symbolic reception is held in Gold Hall by traditions of 18th century followed by excursion through the private and state apartments of the Palace with guide. Courtiers dance minuet for guests in Marble Hall followed by surprise from Court Ladies. Finally Courtiers escort guests to the French formal park. Due to your wishes, small photo session can be organised with court costumes and requisites. Lunch in local restaurant will be organised.
