A midsummer feast celebrated by many nations, who have retained an archaic culture. In Lithuania, it is known by the names of Cupola, Dew, or St. John. It is celebrated after the longest days and shortest nights are settled, during the summer solstice, when the sun reaches the highest point of its journey round the early circle.
