New Year City Break in Copenhagen December – January 5 days/4 nights

Day 1: Arrival Copenhagen
Arrival in Copenhagen, optional transfer to Hotel Tivoli**** or similar, check-in, optional welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Copenhagen
Copenhagen is Scandinavia’s largest and most lively city and one of Europe’s most romantic capitals with its old castles and churches andcharming squares and harbours. The morning walking tour will acquaint us with all the city’s treasures: the Royal Castle, Nyhavn with itsrestaurants and small boats and the City Hall Square. The afternoon is free for individual visits.

Day 3: Copenhagen
This morning is reserved for an optional visit to Tivoli Gardens, founded in 1843 and has become a national treasure and an internationalattraction. Fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen visited many times, as did Walt Disney and many other celebrities, who all fell in love with thegardens. Part of Tivoli Gardens' secret is that there is something for everyone. The scenery is beautiful with exotic architecture, historic buildingsand lush gardens. In the evening we offer to enjoy an optional New Year Gala at the hotel.

Day 4: Copenhagen
Day at leisure. Suggestions to go for a walk in the city and have lunch and a coffee at a coffee shop. Some coffee shops are open on this day.Most shops and all museums are closed on January 1st, so this will be a quiet and relaxed day in Copenhagen.

Day 5: Copenhagen departure
Optional transfer to the airport.
