DAY 1 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Krakow (TUESDAY)

Arrival in Krakow, we can offer an optional transfer to hotel Q Plus Krakow Centrum**** or similar hotel in Krakow. Check-in, welcome meeting at your hotel, please ask a member of stuff at reception for the details.


DAY 2 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Krakow (WEDNESDAY)

Krakow in the greatest Polish city, its second largest in Poland and the oldest one. Krakow sits on a beautiful Vistula river. Its a very important if not the most cultural centre in Poland. The morning tour of a beautiful Krakow will include Krakow Old Town with the St. Mary’s Church, the Jagiellonian University, the Cloth Halls and Wawel with the Wawel Castle and the Wawel Cathedral. In the afternoon you can book an optional excursion to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine, an amazing labyrinth of tunnels going down as far as 327 meters. A traditional Polish dinner at Restaurant Hawelka can be booked optionally for the evening.


DAY 3 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Krakow-Warsaw (THURSDAY)

Departure for Czestochowa, which is the the spiritual centre of whole Poland. During this tour you will see the curious Jasna Gora Monastery with the famous icon of Black Madonna also known as Our Lady of Czestochowa. During your way to Warsaw you will be able to enjoy the flat low-laying plain of Central Poland. Check-in at Hotel Radisson Blu Sobieski**** or similar hotel in Warsaw.


DAY 4 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Warsaw (FRIDAY)

Warsaw is the capital of Poland, its an amazing city that is full of contrasts which will surprise and inspire you. Warsaw’ s Old Town was reconstructed after the war. The morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw features the Royal Route and the Warsaw Old Town with the Royal Castle, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square and the Barbican. In the afternoon you are welcome to book an optional excursion to the Royal Lazienki Park with the Palace on the Water. Optional dinner at Dawne Smaki Restaurant can be reserved for you in the evening.


DAY 5 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Warsaw-Gizycko (SATURDAY)

We continue through the well forested North Poland into the Masurian Lakeland, a myriad of postglacial lakes representing some of the most beautiful nature in the whole of Poland. The afternoon excursion of the Masurian Lakeland takes us to picture-postcard town Mragowo, further to the beautiful Baroque church in Swieta Lipka and to the town of Gizycko, surrounded to all sides by the lakes. In the afternoon we check-in at Hotel Ibis Styles Bialystok***, or similar.


DAY 6 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Mragowa-Vilnius (SUNDAY)

Today we continue along the eastern fringe of the Masurian Lakeland with endless blue lakes and attractive resort towns into Lithuania. We do a stop in Kaunas, the former capital of Lithuania, to admire the beautiful Old Town and the elegant white Baroque Town Hall before we arrive in the late afternoon to Vilnius. Check in at Hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva**** or similar.


DAY 7 of Poland & Baltic Tour - Vilnius (MONDAY)

Vilnius is known for its more than 1.200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn. The afternoon offers an optional excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening enjoy an optional folklore dinner at Restaurant Belmontas.


DAY 8 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Vilnius-Riga (TUESDAY)

Today we are heading for Riga, Latvia, the first stop of the route is the Hills of Crosses, which is Lithuanian historical and architectural monument. The Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, Lithuania is the national pilgrimage centre Thousands of Crosses have been placed on the hill since the 1200's. After crossing we will stop by magnificent Rundale Palace (Latvia), the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland where you will have a guided tour there. We will arrive to Riga, the capital of Latvia in late afternoon, check-in at Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija**** or similar standard hotel in Riga.


DAY 9 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Riga (WEDNESDAY)

Before you get to know more about Riga City you discover beautiful medieval Latvia first. This optional tour will take you the astonishing scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. There you will be told the amazing Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida, and see Maja’s Tombstone, the ruins of the Episcopal Castle, the ruins of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword and the mysterious Gutman Cave before we return to Riga. You can also book optional tour in the afternoon - a visit to the Ethnographical Open Air museum in Riga, a spacious exposition of 18th century country life where you will see examples of typical latvian architecture. Optional organ concert at the Dome Cathedral in the Riga Old Town can be booked too for the evening.


DAY 10 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Riga (THURSDAY)

Riga, the capital of Latvia, was officially founded in 1201. Riga is divided into six administrative districts: Centra, Kurzeme, Ziemeļu, Latgale, Vidzeme and Zemgale districts. Riga is located along the Baltic Sea at the southern coast of the Gulf of Riga, on the Rigava coastal plain. The historical core of Riga is situated on the right bank of the Daugava River, about 10 kilometers from where the Daugava flows into the Gulf of Riga. The natural terrain of this area is a flat and sandy plain, about 1 to 10 meters above the sea level. The walking tour of the Riga Old Town features Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large and Small Guild House and the Freedom Monument. Enjoy an afternoon optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the evening enjoy an optional Latvian dinner at the stylish Restaurant Three in Riga.


DAY 11 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Riga - Parnu - Tallinn (FRIDAY)

Our Poland & Baltics tour continues along the coastal highway to the Estonian summer resort of Parnu. You will have a short tour of the Parnu resort and a relaxing stroll along the beach. The next 2 hours of the day we head toward North Estonian land of forests to Tallinn, check-in at the Hotel Radisson Blu Olympia**** or similar hotel in Tallinn.


DAY 12 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Talinn (SATURDAY)

Tallinn is one of the picturesque and charming if not the most towns in Europe. Tallinn’s medieval Old Town is known around the world for it’s authentic architecture. Enjoy the cobblestone streets and houses dating back as far as to 11th century, visit few of the local art and crafts show rooms, galleries, museum to indulge in small cosy cafés or restaurants and buy travel memorabilia from summer or Christmas open air Hanseatic fairs. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafees and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an optional tour is offered to Kadriorg Park with a visit to KUMU art museum. The evening offers an optional medieval dinner at Restaurant Maikrahv in Tallinn Old Town.


DAY 13 of Poland & Baltic Tour: Talinn (SATURDAY)
